Second-generation tattooer. Fourteen years on Oahu.
I'm a second-generation tattooer by the name of Forrest Goodrich. I began tattooing in the late summer of 2012 at the original Aloha Tattoo in Kailua, Hawaii — the shop my father, Tim Goodrich, built from the ground up.
Fourteen years on Oahu, specializing in American Traditional and fine line styles. Bold imagery built to last. Clean lines, solid color, and the patience to do it right the first time.
Walk into Ohana Tattoo Company in Waikiki and ask for me. Flash, custom, or anything in between — first-timers and full-sleeve regulars get the same aloha.
Two disciplines. One needle.
Built like a flash sheet. Executed like a portrait.
American Traditional
Bold black outline. Limited solid palette — red, green, yellow, blue. Iconic imagery: eagles, anchors, roses, daggers, swallows, hearts, skulls. Built to read across a room and last across a lifetime.
Black & Grey Realism
Smooth gradients. Photoreal portraits. Religious imagery. Memorials. Roses rendered in fifteen shades of grey. The patient, exacting work that rewards a steady hand.
Bold-Line Custom
Custom designs built on Traditional bones. You bring the idea — Forrest builds the line. Hand-drawn fresh, never traced.
Walk-In Flash
Ohana's flash wall is hand-painted, ready-to-go classics. Same-day, walk-in, pick from the wall and you're in the chair in 15 minutes.
Ohana Tattoo Company — Waikiki's most soul-filled walk-in shop.
★ 4.9 · 531 Google reviews. The most lively, soul-filled walk-in flash shop in all of Hawaii. Hand-painted flash on every wall. Walk in, pick a piece, walk out with fresh ink that'll outlast you.
Ohana means family — and stepping through the door, you feel it. Hand-painted flash sheets cover every wall. Walk-ins welcome 9 AM to midnight, every day. Tourists, locals, military — everyone's family at Ohana. Whether you came for a Hawaii memory or for a specific artist's custom work, the door's open.
Built for the kind of clients who want bold, readable, lasting ink — not gimmicky trends. Aloha, professionalism, and a roster of artists who all bring something different but share the same standard.

The Waikiki family
Tim Goodrich first — second-generation foundation, the artist who set the standard for Waikiki ink. Then the rest of the ohana, across Wailana and Ohana.

Common questions
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins always welcome — pick from the flash wall or text ahead with a custom idea. For larger Traditional or B&G work, texting ahead helps reserve time.
How do I book Forrest specifically?
Text (808) 582-8081 and ask for Forrest. Send a photo of what you're thinking and where on the body.
What's the smallest piece you'll do?
Traditional flash starts around $100 (shop minimum). Single-pass minimal pieces happen — but Forrest's bread and butter is bold, readable work that's at least 2-3 inches.
Cover-ups?
Yes. Both Traditional bold-color and B&G are excellent cover-up tools. Send a photo of what you're covering.
Touch-ups?
Free within 90 days of any Forrest piece, as long as you've followed the aftercare.
